This review highlights how carbon nanotube (CNT)–based catalyst designs enhance proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) performance by improving interlayer interactions. Vertically aligned CNTs facilitate water management, mass transfer, and electron conduction while promoting effective active sites and reducing interfacial resistance.

Engineering SnSe Isolated State Steep‐Slope MOSFETs for High‐Performance Applications
Steep‐slope MOSFETs for high‐performance and low‐power applications are achieved by applying asymmetric underlap, strain, and a gate‐all‐around design. Abstract To overcome Boltzmann thermal limitation, the study investigates isolated‐state field‐effect transistors based on armchair SnSe nanoribbons using first‐principles calculations and quantum ...

Real‐Time and Rapid Dynamic Missile Identification Utilizing a TiOx Memristor Array
Real‐time missile target identification is demonstrated using an artificial intelligence model based on step‐weighted long–short‐term memory networks and a TiOx memristor array. The approach classifies five projectile types with enhanced early‐stage prediction through data augmentation and custom training strategies. Achieving 94.4% accuracy, the model

Helmeted hornbill cranial kinesis: Balancing mobility and stability in a high‐impact joint
Abstract Prokinesis—in which a craniofacial joint allows the rostrum to move relative to the braincase—is thought to confer diverse advantages in birds, mostly for feeding. A craniofacial joint would, however, be a weak link if cranial stability is important. Paradoxically, we have identified a craniofacial joint in helmeted hornbills (Rhinoplax vigil),
