A carbon‐free, as‐sintered MgO–steel cermet anode, fabricated via cold isostatic pressing using MgO–C refractory recyclate, was evaluated under laboratory‐scale K‐cryolite electrolysis at 800°C. Operation at this reduced temperature, combined with the electrolyte's limited electrical conductivity, led to an increase in cell voltage.

Educational System for Automated Testing of the Electric Elevator Drive
The paper describes an educational system for partially automated testing of the elevator’s electric drive. The system consists of an elevator model with a three-phase cage induction motor, a control panel, a frequency converter and a dynamic test system. System control can be operated manually, remotely or automatically, using relay and PLC techniques

Integrated Application of Active Controls (IAAC) technology to an advanced subsonic transpot project-demonstration act system definition [PDF]
The 1985 ACT airplane is the Final Active Controls Technology (ACT) Airplane with the addition of three-axis fly by wire. Thus it retains all the efficiency features of the full ACT system plus the weight and cost savings accruing from deletion of the ...

Interaction of Ladle Slag With Varying SiO2 Content and Recyclate‐Based MgO–C Refractories
Ladle slags (CaO/Al2O3 = 1) with 1–20 wt% SiO2 were investigated in contact with industrial MgO–C refractories fabricated from fresh magnesia and 50 wt% recyclate. The sessile drop method at 1600°C reveals intensive gas formation, delayed slag infiltration in recyclate‐based samples, and, under high‐SiO2 slag, formation of a dense MgAl2O4‐rich ...

FEATURES OF PARAMETER FORMATION WHEN COMPARING THE EFFICIENCY OF PASSENGER ELEVATORS ELECTRIC DRIVES
The current situation in the elevator industry in the housing and communal sector is a rather important and urgent problem. Most of the machines in the existing fleet have already worked out their resource by 60% or more. There was conducted an analysis of the current state of the passenger elevator fleet, both in residential buildings and
