Mechanism and IPOA-ELM Predictive Modeling of Slippage in Traction Elevators
The reliable and safe operation of traction elevators depends on traction capacity, which is degraded by traction sheave groove wear. The resulting slippage reduces transmission efficiency and may cause a catastrophic failure due to the sudden loss of ...

What's New? Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) is more aggressive than lung adenocarcinoma, and is most often diagnosed at an advanced stage. Here, the authors evaluated gene expression data from LUSC tumors and came up with gene signatures for 34 genetic abnormalities whose expression changes throughout different precancerous stages. Several of these

Gene expression signatures from single‐cell transcriptomics predict Sjögren's syndrome
A machine learning‐based 12‐gene signature (SjS.Sig) was developed from scRNA‐seq data of PBMCs from Sjögren's syndrome patients. The model was validated using bulk RNA‐seq datasets and further confirmed through flow cytometry and qPCR analysis in an independent clinical cohort, demonstrating robust diagnostic potential.
