On a procedure to derive ϵ-factorised differential equations beyond polylogarithms

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
In this manuscript, we elaborate on a procedure to derive ϵ-factorised differential equations for multi-scale, multi-loop classes of Feynman integrals that evaluate to special functions beyond multiple polylogarithms.

A symbol and coaction for higher-loop sunrise integrals

open access: yesSciPost Physics Core, 2023
We construct a symbol and coaction for the $l$-loop sunrise family of integrals, both for equal-mass and generic-mass cases. These constitute the first concrete examples of symbols and coactions for integrals involving Calabi-Yau threefolds and higher ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Analytical Expressions for the Magnetic Field Generated by a Circular Arc Filament Carrying a Direct Current

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This paper presents a simple, didactical and compact solution for the components of the magnetic vector potential and magnetic field generated by a circular arc filament carrying a direct current using the well-known incomplete elliptic integrals, their ...

How phagocytic cells kill bacteria: Lessons from a professional killer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
How phagocytic cells ingest and kill bacteria has been studied for more than a century, but many questions remain unanswered. The study of the amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum brings new answers, and new questions. Professional phagocytic cells such as neutrophils and macrophages, as well as free‐living soil amoebae like Dictyostelium discoideum, employ

On the monotonicity of the quotient of certain abelian integrals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1993
We prove that the quotient of abelian integrals associated to an elliptic surface is bounded and strictly increasing by first determining the Picard-Fuchs equation satisfied by the abelian integrals and the Riccati equation satisfied by the quotient of ...

Two dialects for KZB equations: generating one-loop open-string integrals

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Two different constructions generating the low-energy expansion of genus-one configuration-space integrals appearing in one-loop open-string amplitudes have been put forward in refs. [1–3].

A Feynman integral depending on two elliptic curves

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We study a two-loop four-point function with one internal mass. This Feynman integral is one of the simplest Feynman integrals depending on two elliptic curves. We transform the associated differential equation into an ε-form. We study the entries of the

Toward Symbolic Integration of Elliptic Integrals

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Computation, 1999
Integrals are considered of the form \(\int_y^x\prod_{i=1}^h(a_i+b_it)^{-1/2} \prod_{j=1}^n(a_j+b_jt)^{m_j} dt\), where \(h=3\) or \(4\), \(n\geq h\), the \(m\)'s are integers, and ...
