Vinyl content governs the long‐term ageing resistance of SBS‐modified bitumen. We report on two species of Strobilanthes Blume. Strobilanthes panichanga (Nees) T.Anderson has been rediscovered in the Dima Hasao district of Assam, India, after a very long gap of 150 years, and Strobilanthes parryorum C.E.C.Fisch has been discovered for the first time in Assam, India.
