Authenticity and Bioactive Markers Search in the Phenolic‐Rich Extracts of Asteraceae Medicinal Plants Through Integrative Computational Chemometrics

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2025.
The phenolic profiling and in vitro bioactivities of five Asteraceae species were evaluated. Achillea millefolium and Arnica montana stand out as rich sources of phenolic compounds, which correlate with their significant antioxidant results. Chamaemelum nobile contained a high amount of flavonoids, which may be involved in its anti‐inflammatory effects.
