Toxicity, and biological and biochemical effects of hexaflumuron on the elm leaf beetle, Xanthogaleruca luteola (Col.: Chrysomelidae) [PDF]
The elm leaf beetle, Xanthogaleruca luteola Müll., is the most important pest of elm trees in Iranian cities. Insect growth regulators (IGRs) such as hexaflumuron are recommended to use in urban areas for their low toxicity to human and environment.

ADEPOS: Anomaly Detection based Power Saving for Predictive Maintenance using Edge Computing
In industry 4.0, predictive maintenance(PM) is one of the most important applications pertaining to the Internet of Things(IoT). Machine learning is used to predict the possible failure of a machine before the actual event occurs.

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

Light‐Induced Entropy for Secure Vision
This work realized a ternary true random number generator by exploiting stochastic traps emerging within multiple junction interfaces, and quantitatively validated the generation of high‐quality random numbers. Furthermore, it successfully demonstrated diverse applications, including AI‐resilient image security, thereby providing a valuable guide for ...

Vertical organic electrochemical transistors (vOECTs) are limited in speed by ion‐impermeable metal electrodes that slow ion injection. Using ion‐permeable PBFDO top electrodes allows direct vertical ion injection into BBL channels, achieving high current densities (>400 A cm−2), large on/off ratios (>106), and ultrafast switching in 28 µs. This sets a

Biological Control of Elm Leaf Beetle
The bacterial insecticide Bacillus thuringiensis tenebrionis (Novodor-FC®) (Btt) protected elm foliage from feeding damage by elm leaf beetle larvae, Xanthogaleruca luteola, when applied to urban elms by mistblower or rotomist. Whereas untreated control trees lost up to 40% of their total foliage due to elm leaf beetle feeding in a 3-week sample period,

Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.
