Randomized Comparison of Cardiotoxicity With 60 Versus 90 mg Daunorubicin in AML Induction Therapy

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 101, Issue 3, Page 512-520, March 2026.
Early cardiac biomarker monitoring in AML induction therapy showed significantly higher hsTnT levels after daunorubicin 90 mg/m2 compared with 60 mg/m2, indicating a dose‐dependent early myocardial effect. ABSTRACT Anthracyclines are an essential component of induction therapy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML), but their optimal dosing and the ...

Advancement in the Methods for Isolating High Quality RNA From Mouse and Rat Intervertebral Disc

open access: yesJOR SPINE, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Isolating high‐quality RNA from intervertebral disc (IVD) tissue poses a challenge due to dense fibrocartilaginous extracellular matrix and naturally occurring endogenous RNases. High RNA quality is of paramount importance for accurate and reproducible molecular analyses, such as RNA sequencing.

Combined Flexion, Torsion and Compression Drive Distinct Intervertebral Disc Failure Mechanisms Under Asymmetric, High‐Cycle Loading

open access: yesJOR SPINE, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Using advanced multiaxial bioreactor systems, this study investigated the effects of flexion, torsion, and static compression on whole intervertebral discs. High cycle asymmetric loading resulted in cell death in the nucleus pulposus and structural changes in the annulus fibrosus.
