On embedding problems with restricted ramifications
Let \(L/k\) be a finite Galois extension of algebraic number fields, with Galois group \(G\), and let \( 1\to A\to E\to G\to 1\) be a central extension of groups. The author investigates the existence of the Galois extension \(M/L/k\) such that the Galois group \(\mathrm{Gal}(M/k)\) is isomorphic to \(E\) and that \(M/L\) is unramified outside a finite

This study investigates electromechanical PUFs that improve on traditional electric PUFs. The electron transport materials are coated randomly through selective ligand exchange. It produces multiple keys and a key with motion dependent on percolation and strain, and approaches almost ideal inter‐ and intra‐hamming distances.

A Linearization of Connes' Embedding Problem
We show that Connes' embedding problem for II_1-factors is equivalent to a statement about distributions of sums of self-adjoint operators with matrix coefficients. This is an application of a linearization result for finite von Neumann algebras, which is proved using asymptotic second order freeness of Gaussian random matrices.
