Extensions of theorems of Rattray and Makeev

open access: yes, 2012
We consider extensions of the Rattray theorem and two Makeev's theorems, showing that they hold for several maps, measures, or functions simultaneously, when we consider orthonormal $k$-frames in $\R^n$ instead of orthonormal basis (full frames).

An Application of the Browder-Minty Theorem in a Problem of Partial Differential Equations

open access: yesREMAT, 2019
In this work, we will show existence of weak solution for a semilinear elliptic problem using as main tool the Browder-Minty Theorem. First, we will make a brief introduction about basic theory of the Sobolev Spaces to support our study and provide ...

Analytic Classes on Subframe and Expanded Disk and the Differential Operator in Polydisk

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2009
We introduce and study new analytic classes on subframe and expanded disk and give complete description of their traces on the unit disk. Sharp embedding theorems and various new estimates concerning differential operator in polydisk also will be ...

Some Results of Fixed Point and Representation Theorems on Weighted Partial Metric Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
In this paper, we introduce the concept of weighted partial metric spaces by using the generalized weight function ฯ‰. Also, we obtain correspondence between dislocated metrics and weighted partial metrics, which extends the relations of (weak) partial ...

Trace theorems on Herz-Morrey spaces with applications to Sobolev type inequalities

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
In this paper, we prove the trace theorems in the setting of Riesz potential operator for Herz-Morrey spaces and present some examples to illustrate the optimality of certain parametric conditions.

Real interpolation with logarithmic functors

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2002
We present a real interpolation method involving broken-logarithmic functors. We obtain a variety of interpolation theorems for quasilinear operators on quasi-Banach spaces, including limiting cases.

Embedding Operators in Vector-Valued Weighted Besov Spaces and Applications

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2012
The embedding theorems in weighted Besov-Lions type spaces ๐ต๐‘™,๐‘ ๐‘,๐‘ž,๐›พ (ฮฉ;๐ธ0,๐ธ) in which ๐ธ0,๐ธ are two Banach spaces and ๐ธ0โŠ‚๐ธ are studied. The most regular class of interpolation space ๐ธ๐›ผ between ๐ธ0 and E is found such that the mixed differential operator ...

Modulation Spaces with Variable Smoothness and Integrability

open access: yesMathematics
This paper introduces modulation spaces with variable smoothness and integrability, defined via frequency-uniform decomposition operators and mixed Lebesgue-sequence spaces.

Zippinโ€™s Embedding Theorem

open access: yes, 2010
A deep result of Per Enflo [E] asserts that there exists a separable Banach space without a Schauder basis. On the other hand, by Theorem 1.8, every separable Banach space embeds into a Banach space with a Schauder basis. An old problem in Banach Space Theory (see [LT, Problem 1.b.16]) asked whether every space X with separable dual is isomorphic to a ...
