Amniotic fluid embolism Abstract Amniotic fluid embolism is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous conditions of pregnancy and treatment is mainly supportive. We report the case of a patient with an amniotic fluid embolism at 41 weeks of pregnancy with a sudden episode of thoracic pain accompanied by dyspnea.
