Exploration of Limonium interspecific breeding possibility : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirement for the degree of Master of Science in Plant Science at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Interspecific crossability was investigated in the genus Limonium (Plumbaginaceae). Six Limonium species were chosen for this study, five of which are dimorphic and L.perigrinum which is monomorphic.

Artifact‐Minimizing Ultrathin Transparent Electrodes Fabricated via iCVD for In Vivo Optogenetic Stimulation and Neural Signal Monitoring of Primary Visual Cortex

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present ultrathin flexible transparent electrodes through iCVD‐enabled molecular control of 10 nm gold films on poly(dimethylaminomethylstyrene). In vivo validation demonstrated photoelectric artifact reduction vs. opaque electrodes and preservation of natural neural dynamics.

Microenvironmental Reprogramming by 3D Anisotropic Cardiac Extracellular Matrix Induces Nuclear Remodeling and Epigenetic Maturation of Chemically Induced Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

Tissue‐Stimulator Platform for Electrically Stimulating Pancreatic β‐Cells for Long‐Term Functional Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

Sweet cherry forms obtained with embryo culture techniques and their study in the Crimean steppe

open access: yesТруды по прикладной ботанике, генетике и селекции
Background. Sweet cherry plants bear fruit annually, are high-yielding, and generate good profits. Cultivars with early-ripening fruits are specially valued.

Biocompatible but Antibacterial Mechanism of Graphene Oxide for Sustainable Antibiotics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Graphene oxide (GO) exhibits selective antibacterial activity through specific interactions between its oxygen functional groups and bacterial membrane phospholipid POPG, causing membrane destabilization while maintaining biocompatibility. Model membrane studies and infected wound models in mice and pigs demonstrate effective bacterial suppression and ...

Use of zygotic embryo culture to collect germplasm of coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
The in vitro culture of zygotic embryos solves the problems encountered in transporting and storing coconut seeds (Cocos nucifera L.). especially when obtained under field collecting conditions.

AN EMBRYOLOGICAL STUDY OF MOUSE EAR USING THE WHOLE EMBRYO CULTURE TECHNIQUE

open access: yesNippon Jibiinkoka Gakkai Kaiho, 1993
Mouse embryos were explanted at 11.5 days of gestation and cultured for periods of 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 and 48 hours using the whole embryo culture system. A continuous flow of gas (5% CO2+95%O2) was maintained through the culture bottles during the culture periods.
