It was found that part of the ovules in two lines of Lycopersicon esculentum: Kholodostoykye (Kh, fertile) and A33 (with a tendency to parthenocarpy) show disturbances in the development of the embryo sac. These irregularities can be seen in four phases:

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

The C‐terminal domain of yeast Arginyltransferase1 is essential for its catalytic activity
Arginyltransferase 1 (Ate1), a eukaryotic enzyme, catalyses arginylation, transferring arginine from tRNA‐Arg to the amino terminus of the target protein. Overexpression of Ate1 in yeast is lethal and is dependent on arginylation. This study elucidates how mutations in the cofactor‐binding and active site of Ate1 and truncation of its structural ...

The Development of the Embryo Sac of Smilacina stellata [PDF]
1. The mother cell of Smilacina stellata divides twice to form four nuclei, which are separated by walls to form four megaspores. 2. The division walls and plasma membranes which separate the four nuclei are absorbed, so that the four reduction nuclei occupy a common cell cavity. 3.
