SPACETIME EMERGENCE AND GENERAL COVARIANCE TRANSMUTATION [PDF]
Spacetime emergence refers to the notion that classical spacetime "emerges" as an approximate macroscopic entity from a non-spatio-temporal structure present in a more complete theory of interacting fundamental constituents. In this paper, we propose a novel mechanism involving the "soldering" of internal and external spaces for the emergence of ...

Abstract In this paper, we explore how neurodivergent ways of being in early education are often gendered. The intersectionalities of gender and neurodivergence often lead to fixed expectations that perpetuate binary interpretations, pathologisations, missed diagnoses and a lack of curated support.

The regulation of stem cell fate and its application in neural regeneration
Regulating stem cell fate is crucial for neural regeneration. This review summarizes key physical, biological, and chemical strategies and their applications in repairing nerve injuries, providing new insights for regenerative medicine. Abstract Regulating the fate of stem cells (SCs) is a key technical problem in the field of regenerative medicine and

We briefly review two concepts of time – the usual time associated with "being" and more recent ideas, answering to the description of "becoming". The approximation involved in the former is examined. Finally we argue that it is (unpredictable) fluctuations that underlie time.

Emergent classical spacetime from microstates of an incipient black hole
Black holes have an enormous underlying space of microstates, but universal macroscopic physics characterized by mass, charge and angular momentum as well as a causally disconnected interior.

We give a bit thread prescription that is equivalent to the quantum extremal surface prescription for holographic entanglement entropy. Our proposal is inspired by considerations of bit threads in doubly holographic models, and equivalence is established

The Great Cosmic Silence: What Does the Fermi Paradox Tell About the Future of Humanity?
ABSTRACT This article examines how institutional time horizons shape the long‐term survival prospects of human technological civilisation. While research on global catastrophic and existential risks has expanded, the temporal structures of political‐economic institutions remain underexamined.

Quantum Fluctuations in the Effective Relational GFT Cosmology
We analyze the size and evolution of quantum fluctuations of cosmologically relevant geometric observables, in the context of the effective relational cosmological dynamics of GFT models of quantum gravity.

Fluid Control with Localized Spacetime Windows
Abstract We present a physics‐based fluid control method utilizing localized spacetime windows, extending force‐based fluid control to substantially larger simulation scales. In many practical editing scenarios, user‐specified objectives affect only a small region of an otherwise satisfactory simulation, resulting in optimal control force distributions

New Views on Dark Matter from Emergent Gravity
We discuss a scenario that apparent dark matter comes from the induced gravity in the (3+1)- dimensional spacetime, which can be embedded into one higher dimensional flat spacetime.
