Motivations to enrol in EMI programmes in China: an exploratory study
Applied Linguistics Review, 2022A recent interest in English Medium Instruction (EMI) has led to the flourishing of studies that examine motivation in EMI classrooms. Some of these studies tend to compare language learning motivation of students who are and are not enrolled in EMI ...

A Review of EMI Research in Modular Multilevel Converter for HVDC Applications
IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2022The modular multilevel converter (MMC) is one of the most critical implementation forms of high voltage direct current transmission. However, the electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems in MMC are unavoidable and complex due to the nonlinear ...

The economy of the EMI-scanner
Neuroradiology, 1976It is shown-taking in consideration the local circumstances-that the EMI scanning of the brain is less expensive than pneumoencephalography percutaneus carotid angiography or cerebral four vessel angiography.

LOCALIZATION WITH THE EMI SCANNER
American Journal of Roentgenology, 1975Accurate localization of lesions seen on computerized tomographic scans obtained with the EMI unit is often difficult due to a paucity of reliable landmarks and to varying head angulation. A simple and accurate system of transposing the location of any particular lesion to a roentgenogram obtained with the scanner tube is described.
