On the Intermediate Line Region in AGNs
In this paper we explore the intermediate line region (ILR) by using the photoionisation simulations of the gas clouds present at different radial distances from the center, corresponding to the locations from BLR out to NLR in four types of AGNs. We let

X-ray emission of galaxies with emission lines [PDF]
We built new sample of 315 SDSS galaxies which were detected as X-ray sources in 2XMM catalog. On the basis of distribution of relative intensities of emission lines NII [6583] and OIII [5007] we divided objects of the sample into starburst galaxies and galaxies with active nuclei. Also we found distributions of X-ray luminosities of these galaxies.

A Photo-Ionization Method for Black Hole Mass Estimation in Quasars
Determining the masses of the central compact object believed to power all active galactic nuclei is relevant to our understanding of their evolution and of their inner workings.

Calibrating emission lines as quasar bolometers [PDF]
Abstract Historically, emission lines have been considered a valuable tool for estimating the bolometric thermal luminosity of the accretion flow in active galactic nucleus, Lbol. We study the reliability of this method by comparing line strengths to the optical/ultraviolet continuum luminosity of Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) Data ...

ABSTRACT Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pcALCL) is a rare pediatric CD30‐positive T‐cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an excellent prognosis, but its genomic drivers are poorly defined. We report three children with skin‐limited disease demonstrating striking molecular heterogeneity, including NPM::ALK, NUP214::FRK, and a novel ...

The location and kinematics of the emission line regions in Active Galactic Nuclei [PDF]
This thesis contains the results from a study of the optical emission lines of various samples of active galactic nuclei (AGN). We have used three separate techniques to determine the precise kinematics and the relative location of the emission line ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

THE BALDWIN EFFECT IN THE NARROW EMISSION LINES OF ACTIVE GALACTIC NUCLEI [PDF]
The anti-correlations between the equivalent widths of emission lines and the continuum luminosity in active galactic nuclei (AGNs), known as the Baldwin effect, are well established for broad lines, but are less well studied for narrow lines.
