Magnetic Fields in the Horsehead Nebula
We present the first polarized dust emission measurements of the Horsehead Nebula, obtained using the POL-2 polarimeter on the Submillimetre Common-User Bolometer Array 2 (SCUBA-2) camera on the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope.

A Photometrically and Morphologically Variable Infrared Nebula in L483 [PDF]
We present narrow and broad K-band observations of the Class 0/I source IRAS 18148-0440 that span 17 years. The infrared nebula associated with this protostar in the L483 dark cloud is both morphologically and photometrically variable on a time scale of only a few months.

THE INTEGRATED DIFFUSE X-RAY EMISSION OF THE CARINA NEBULA COMPARED TO OTHER MASSIVE STAR-FORMING REGIONS [PDF]
The Chandra Carina Complex Project (CCCP) has shown that the Carina Nebula displays bright, spatially-complex soft diffuse X-ray emission. Here, we “sum up” the CCCP diffuse emission work by comparing the global morphology and spectrum of Carina's ...

THE CRAB NEBULA SUPER-FLARE IN 2011 APRIL: EXTREMELY FAST PARTICLE ACCELERATION AND GAMMA-RAY EMISSION [PDF]
We report on the extremely intense and fast gamma-ray flare above 100 MeV detected by AGILE from the Crab Nebula in mid-April 2011. This event is the fourth of a sequence of reported major gamma-ray flares produced by the Crab Nebula in the period 2007 ...

Protoplanetary Disk Properties in the Orion Nebula Cluster: Initial Results from Deep, High-resolution ALMA Observations [PDF]
We present Atacama Large Millimeter Array 850 μm continuum observations of the Orion Nebula Cluster that provide the highest angular resolution (∼0.″1 ≈ 40 au) and deepest sensitivity (∼0.1 mJy) of the region to date. We mosaicked a field containing ∼225

THE 15–20 μm EMISSION IN THE REFLECTION NEBULA NGC 2023 [PDF]
We present 15–20 μm spectral maps toward the reflection nebula NGC 2023 obtained with the Infrared Spectrograph in short-wavelength, high-resolution mode on board the Spitzer Space Telescope.

Anticorrelation Between Flux and Photon Index of Hard-X-Ray Emission from the Crab
Using Swift Burst Alert Telescope event-mode data during gamma-ray burst occurrences, we conduct spectral analysis for the Crab system. From 38 good observations, which span a period of 18 yr from 2006 to 2023, we find that the Crab’s X-ray flux not only

Bulbs and Biopower: Managing Produce and Price in the Age of Agri‐Logistics
Abstract This paper deploys the material and discursive politics of storage as a lens into agrarian change in rural India. Focusing on onions (Allium cepa), a price volatile crop and a kitchen staple, it maps out the contested meanings of and motivations for storage among growers, governments, and agri‐logistics companies. Specifically, this paper asks

PROPERTIES AND SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION OF DUST EMISSION IN THE CRAB NEBULA [PDF]
Recent infrared (IR) observations of freshly formed dust in supernova remnants have yielded significantly lower dust masses than predicted by theoretical models and measured from high-redshift observations.

The Boomerang Nebula is a bright radio and X-ray pulsar wind nebula (PWN) powered by an energetic pulsar, PSR J2229+6114. It is spatially coincident with one of the brightest ultrahigh-energy (UHE; ≥100 TeV) gamma-ray sources, LHAASO J2226+6057.
