Ultrafast Relaxation of the Poly(3-hexylthiophene) Emission Spectrum
The femtosecond-resolved evolution of the emission spectrum of the important conjugated polymer poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) is presented. Detailed fluorescence up-conversion spectroscopy was performed on P3HT solid-state films and on P3HT in ...

Stage‐Dependent Inhibitory Connectivity in Striatal‐Motor Circuit in Huntington's Disease
ABSTRACT Background Elucidating dysfunctional connectivity patterns among key brain regions in Huntington's disease (HD) underlying progression may have implications for developing treatment and therapeutic evaluation. Objective Explore the relationship between abnormal spontaneous resting‐state activity and atrophy in HD‐specific brain regions and ...

Mid infrared emission of nearby Herbig Ae/Be stars [PDF]
We present mid IR spectro-photometric imaging of a sample of eight nearby ($D \leq 240$pc) Herbig Ae/Be stars. The spectra are dominated by photospheric emission (HR6000), featureless infrared excess emission (T~Cha), broad silicate emission feature (HR5999) and the infrared emission bands (HD 97048, HD 97300, TY~CrA, HD 176386).

We generally analyze prompt high-energy emission above a few hundreds of GeV due to synchrotron self-Compton scattering in internal shocks. However, such photons cannot be detected because they may collide with cosmic infrared background photons, leading

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Analysis of EUV Solar Spectrum with Gravity Induced Resonant Emission [PDF]
Gravity Induced Resonant Emission (GIRE) is a new phenomenon recently reported; we have analyzed the solar emissions on the basis of GIRE. We have computed the EUV solar spectrum using GIRE wave length as a part of studying coronal heating problem. We find all the solar observations converge in GIRE and the GIRE wave length is sufficient to study all ...

Additive manufacturing of magnesium alloys by laser is difficult because the melting point of the oxide layer is much higher than the evaporation temperature of the metal underneath. Making the oxide layer thinner can solve this problem. Alloying magnesium with strontium makes the oxide layer thinner, especially at 0.5 wt%.

Quantum Corrected Non-Thermal Radiation Spectrum from the Tunnelling Mechanism
The tunnelling mechanism is today considered a popular and widely used method in describing Hawking radiation. However, in relation to black hole (BH) emission, this mechanism is mostly used to obtain the Hawking temperature by comparing the probability ...

A lingering non-thermal component in the GRB prompt emission: predicting GeV emission from the MeV spectrum [PDF]
The high energy GeV emission of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), detected by \emph{Fermi}/LAT, has a significantly different morphology compared to the lower energy MeV emission, detected by \emph{Fermi}/GBM. Though the late time GeV emission is believed to be synchrotron radiation produced via an external shock, this emission as early as the prompt phase is ...
