DETECTION OF AN UNIDENTIFIED EMISSION LINE IN THE STACKED X-RAY SPECTRUM OF GALAXY CLUSTERS [PDF]
We detect a weak unidentified emission line at E = (3.55–3.57) ± 0.03 keV in a stacked XMM-Newton spectrum of 73 galaxy clusters spanning a redshift range 0.01–0.35. When the full sample is divided into three subsamples (Perseus, Centaurus+Ophiuchus+Coma,

CIGALE: a python Code Investigating GALaxy Emission [PDF]
Context. Measuring how the physical properties of galaxies change across cosmic times is essential to understand galaxy formation and evolution. With the advent of numerous ground-based and space-borne instruments launched over the past few decades we ...

InPBi Quantum Dots for Super-Luminescence Diodes
InPBi thin film has shown ultra-broad room temperature photoluminescence, which is promising for applications in super-luminescent diodes (SLDs) but met problems with low light emission efficiency.

Distance-dependent emission spectrum from two qubits in a strong-coupling regime [PDF]
We study the emission spectrum of two distant qubits strongly coupled to a waveguide by using the numerical and analytical approaches, which are beyond the Markovian approximation and the rotating-wave approximation (RWA). The numerical approach combines the Dirac-Frenkel time-dependent variational principle with the multiple Davydov $D_{1}$ ansatz.

High-resolution Emission Spectroscopy of the Ultrahot Jupiter KELT-9b: Little Variation in Day- and Nightside Emission Line Contrasts [PDF]
The transmission spectrum of the ultrahot Jupiter KELT-9b ($T_{eq}$ $\sim$ 4000 K) exhibits absorption by several metal species. We searched for atomic and molecular lines in its emission spectrum by observing partial phase curves with the CARMENES spectrograph ($R$ $\sim$ 80,000 $-$ 95,000).

The emission spectrum of curium [PDF]
Abstract The curium emission spectrum was observed from 2400 to 11 200 A using electrodeless lamps as sources. Accurately measured wavelengths of 2034 of the strongest 244 Cm lines are reported. The wavelengths, wavenumbers, and relative intensities are given.
