Dual‐Interface Engineering of the Source Electrode to Overcome the Intrinsic Injection‐Leakage Trade‐Off in Organic Schottky Barrier Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A charge injection layer is introduced via RIE to decouple the dual functions of the source electrode: lowering contact resistance through doping to enhance charge injection, while SAM modification on the top surface minimizes leakage current. This strategy enables OSBTs to achieve a high on/off ratio with improved stability and performance.

Dual‐Functional Li2B4O7 Coating on Carbon Fibers for Enhanced Li+ Transport and Stability in Sulfide All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐functional Li2B4O7 coating on carbon fibers is designed to resolve the critical interfacial degradation in sulfide all‐solid‐state batteries. The conformal layer acts as a physical barrier to suppress parasitic reactions while its unique dielectric properties simultaneously facilitate Li+ transport.

Reducing CO2 from cars in the European Union: Emission standards or emission trading? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
CO2 emissions mandates for new light-duty passenger vehicles have recently been adopted in the European Union (EU), which require steady reductions to 95 g CO2/km in 2021.

Emissions trading systems with cap adjustments

open access: yesJournal of Environmental Economics and Management, 2016
AbstractEmissions Trading Systems (ETSs) with fixed caps lack provisions to address systematic imbalances in the supply and demand of permits due to changes in the state of the regulated economy. We propose a mechanism which adjusts the allocation of permits based on the current bank of permits.

Toward Scalable Solutions for Silver‐Based Gas Diffusion Electrode Fabrication for the Electrochemical Conversion of CO2 – A Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the preparation techniques for silver‐based gas diffusion electrodes used for the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide (eCO2R) are systematically reviewed and compared with respect to their scalability. In addition, physics‐based and data‐driven modeling approaches are discussed, and a perspective is given on how modeling can aid ...
