Solving Phosphorus Fertilization-Related Drip Irrigation Emitter Clogging by Adding Mn2+
Drip irrigation with a fertilizer application could effectively alleviate the soil pollution caused by excessive phosphorus fertilizer. Phosphate fertilizer was dissolved in water and produced a chemical reaction with the ions in irrigation water.

Evaluation of Pulsating Pressure and Emitter Position in Preventing Drip Emitters from Clogging
Non-pressure compensating (Non-PC) emitters are employed mainly in drip irrigation systems due to their structural simplicity and low manufacturing costs; however, they present high sensitivity to physical obstruction, even when using filtration.

A Tool for the Evaluation of Irrigation Water Quality in the Arid and Semi-Arid Regions [PDF]
In the Mediterranean arid and semi-arid regions, large amounts of low quality waters could be used for crop irrigation, but the adoption of articulated classifications with too rigid quality limits can often reduce the recoverable quantities of water and

Emitter discharge variability of subsurface drip irrigation in uniform soils: effect on water-application uniformity [PDF]
Emitter discharge of subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) decreases as a result of the overpressure in the soil water at the discharge orifice. In this paper, the variation in dripper discharge in SDI laterals is studied.
