Abstract Children are special in the way they communicate emotions. Their expressions have a purity of form that connects right to our hearts every time. Think of a child’s delight when at play. Unfortunately, the situation described in Denver is unlikely to be unique. To compound the problem, children's descriptions of classroom turmoil are rarely taken seriously.
