PBRM1 Deficiency in Microglia Leads to Excessive Neurogenesis and Autism‐Like Behaviors via the CCL5‐CCR1/5‐β‐catenin Signaling Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microglial PBRM1 deficiency drives excessive hippocampal neurogenesis by enhancing CCL5–CCR1/5 signaling, leading to autism‐like behaviors. A pro‐inflammatory IL1α+/TNFα+ microglial subset is identified as a key cellular contributor to this process. PBRM1 represses Ccl5 expression at the transcriptional level.

A Hypothalamic Oxytocinergic–Sympathetic Axis Couples Anxiety Dysregulation With Impaired Tendon–Bone Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
RCI is associated with functional suppression of oxytocinergic neurons in the PVN. Reduced PVNOXT neuronal activity contributes to altered sympathetic regulation involving the IML–sympathetic chain pathway, accompanied by changes in norepinephrine signaling at the BTI.

CausalCellInfer: Prioritizing Cell‐Type‐Specific Disease Associations From Genetically Predicted Transcriptomes in Biobank Cohorts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bulk and genotype‐imputed transcriptomes obscure the cellular drivers of complex disease. CausalCellInfer resolves them by integrating invariant marker selection, deep learning deconvolution, and regularized matrix completion. Applied to ∼500 000 UK Biobank participants across 29 traits, it uncovers hallmark cell‐type proportion shifts, including ...

Sub‐Second Ratiometric Fluorescence Imaging of Histamine Dynamics in Living Cells via a Supramolecular Probe

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A tailored tripartite supramolecular ratiometric probe, engineered by modulating the fluorogenic guest's cationic locus, enables ultrafast histamine monitoring in living cells. Utilizing a competitive displacement mechanism, this system achieves a sub‐second response time with high selectivity.

Interfacial Polarization Dynamics of Nitrile Dipoles in Organic Synaptic Transistors for Acoustic Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Interfacial nitrile dipoles unlock tunable memory in organic synaptic transistors through competing polarization and relaxation. Their finite time dynamics are directly harnessed for acoustic reservoir computing, delivering 97.17% spoken digit recognition, reliable speech emotion and snoring recognition, and an ultralow event energy of only 50 aJ ...

Cost‐Effective Ti/Al/Ni Multilayer Neural Probes With In Vivo Recording Performance Comparable to Ti/Au Neural Probes

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, we developed a cost‐efficient neural probe by replacing traditional gold with an aluminum‐based Ti/Al/Ni multilayer stack. Optimizing this metal architecture suppressed oxidation and ensured robust electrical stability, achieving signal quality comparable to standard gold probes. It enables a highly accessible and economical solution for

What Really Drives Agri‐Environment‐Climate Measures' Adoption? Mandatory Requirements, Behavioral Traits, and Structural Factors in the CAP Green Architecture

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT To increase farmer adoption of green practices, the EU Common Agricultural Policy includes both mandatory (conditionality) and voluntary instruments (eco‐schemes–ECS– and more demanding, multi‐annual agri‐environment‐climate measures –AECM–). Building on the experiment of Barreiro‐Hurle et al.

Promoting Healthier Drinking: Evidence From a Vignette Experiment on Contextual and Informational Drivers of Dealcoholized Wine Choices

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Growing demand for healthier beverages is driving innovation in the wine sector, with dealcoholized wine emerging as a promising alternative. However, little is known about the contextual conditions under which consumers would choose dealcoholized wine, particularly in countries with strong wine traditions. To fill this gap, this work examines

Consumer Preferences for Craft Beer: The Interplay of Localness and Advertising Language

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study explores the influence of the language of the label, origin of production, and origin of brewing ingredients on Croatian consumers' preferences and willingness to pay for organic craft beer. Employing an online survey and a choice experiment among 223 Croatian alcohol consumers, we find that while there's a willingness to pay a ...
