Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed

A Comparative Study of Empirical Mode Decomposition-Based Filtering for Impact Signal
The Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise (CEEMDAN) has been used to propose a new method for filtering time series originating from nonlinear systems. The filtering method is based on fuzzy entropy and a new waveform.

Surface Tension Measurement of Ti‐6Al‐4V by Falling Droplet Method in Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
In this article, the temperature‐dependent surface tension of free falling, oscillating Ti‐6Al‐4V droplets is investigated in both argon and monosilane doped, oxygen‐free atmosphere. Droplet temperature and oscillation are captured with one single high‐speed camera, and the surface tension is calculated with Rayleigh's formula.

Efficient and robust estimation for financial returns: an approach based on q-entropy [PDF]
We consider a new robust parametric estimation procedure, which minimizes an empirical version of the Havrda-Charv_at-Tsallis entropy. The resulting estimator adapts according to the discrepancy between the data and the assumed model by tuning a single ...

Are black holes about information? [PDF]
Information theory is increasingly invoked by physicists concerned with fundamental physics, including black hole physics. But to what extent is the application of information theory in those contexts legitimate?

Primordial Perturbations from Multifield Inflation with Nonminimal Couplings
Realistic models of particle physics include many scalar fields. These fields generically have nonminimal couplings to the Ricci curvature scalar, either as part of a generalized Einstein theory or as necessary counterterms for renormalization in curved ...

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.
