A New Customizable Surfactant LLPS Strategy for Sustainable and Highly Efficient Radioactive Metal Ion Separation

A diluent‐free, customizable liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) platform enables highly efficient radioactive metal ion extraction and stripping. By encapsulating hydrophobic extractants into an ionic surfactant‐rich condensed phase, this LLPS system leverages synergistic electrostatic and coordination interactions.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. Phase‐Resolved Defect Transport Mechanisms Governing Asynchronous Ordering in a Eutectic High‐Entropy Alloy

Phase‐resolved experiments and atomistic simulations reveal asynchronous ordering behaviors in a eutectic high‐entropy alloy during isothermal annealing. Distinct defect transport mechanisms are identified in coexisting B2 and BCC phases, showing that vacancy and interstitial mediated diffusion governs phase‐dependent thermal stability.
