The Effects of Employee Ownership on Employee Behaviors.

This study examined the effects of an employee ownership program on absenteeism and grievances. Data from company records and a survey administered to the employee-owners indicated that employee ownership status had no effect on absenteeism. The number of grievances filed increased after the adoption of the ownership program.
