Layered Nanoporous Platforms for SERS Sensing
Here, we present a detailed investigation of the SERS performance of layered nanoporous metals. The controlled deposition of well‐defined, stacked porous layers enabled a systematic analysis of the effects of multimetallic systems in SERS experiments. Numerical models are also used to support the experimental findings.

Credibility, Debt and Unemployment: Ireland's Failed Stabilization [PDF]
Can the credibility of a stabilization plan affect the output costs of disinflation? The new classical economics has asserted this possibility, but little evidence has been brought forward.

Cytochrome P450 enzymes—in vitro, in vivo, and in silico studies
Abstract Metabolism is a major determinant of the pharmacokinetic properties of most drugs and is often behind bioavailability problems, drug-drug interactions, and metabolic idiosyncrasies. Cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes are a superfamily of microsomal hemoproteins catalysing the metabolic reactions of several exogenous compounds.

Sensitive and Spatially‐Resolved Electrochemiluminescence via Micropatterning
The use of a simple silica nanoparticle surface coating and patterning process can transform ordinary gold electrodes into multiplexed ECL sensing electrodes. Through spatially confined droplet formation and local ECL emission, it is possible to perform multiple analyses simultaneously from individual locations as well as intensify the ECL signal by as

Ultrathin MXene/EMF composite foams achieve a specific shielding efficiency of 749.6 dB.dB·cm3$\mathrm{dB}\cdot {\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$/g, while the silver‐enhanced MXene/Ag/EMF reaches 81.4 dB shielding effectiveness at just 1.0 mm thickness. Both composites exhibit rapid Joule heating, retain stability up to 250∘C$^\circ{\rm C}$, and withstand 1000 ...

A custom shape memory polymer material selection process relates quantitative application criteria (e.g., compression garment yarns) to material characterization information. The selected materials are manufactured into yarn geometries, which expand the design space by creating structural stress‐strain profiles beyond the nominal material stress‐strain
