Threshold-Type Binary Memristor Emulator Circuit

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A floating memristor emulator composed of off-the-shelf devices is presented to mimic the dynamics of threshold-type binary memristor. The diodes combined with proportional amplifier circuits are used to model the threshold sensitive behavior.

Dual‐Inductive and Programmable Switching: A New Paradigm in Ionic Interface‐Controlled Perovskite Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fully programmable, dual‐inductive switchable halide perovskite memristor is demonstrated through precise BDAI2‐mediated interface engineering. This ion‐modulating layer suppresses stochastic filamentary growth, enabling stable, non‐filamentary switching via dynamic barrier modulation.

Abstract Unattended Workflow Interactions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Recent studies in the domain of digital preservation have demonstrated the principle feasibility of the migration-by-emulation approach. The migration-by-emulation approach is a method aimed to recreate original environments of the obsolete digital ...

Electro‐Steric Ion Confinement in Polyelectrolyte Networks for Robust Nonvolatile Artificial Synapse

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polyelectrolyte stoichiometry governs ion transport and retention in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. A PSS‐rich network creates electro‐steric ion confinement that suppresses ion back‐diffusion and stabilizes channel doping, enabling robust nonvolatile synaptic memory, linear weight updates, and low‐energy operation.

Solution‐Processed Thin‐Film Transistors With Tunable Temporal Dynamics for Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed CNT and CNT/P3HT ion‐gated transistors exhibit materials‐defined synaptic timescales: fast CNT devices for high‐frequency spiking and slow hybrid devices for temporal integration. Embedding these dynamics into coupled reservoir‐computing and spiking neural network simulations reveals that a Hybrid‐Reservoir / CNT‐SNN architecture ...

Comparing multiple simulators using Bayesian emulators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Bayesian emulation has proved to be a useful tool for working with complicated, high dimensional simulators, approximating the simulator's behaviour in a probabilistic way, enabling operations such as prediction or calibration, and therefore providing an

Powering Nanocrystal‐Based Heat Engines With Light‐Emitting Metasurfaces That Influence Their Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...
