Simultaneous whole‐brain and cervical spine imaging at 7 T using a neurovascular head and neck coil with 8‐channel transceiver array and 56‐channel receiver array

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 94, Issue 1, Page 386-400, July 2025.
Abstract Purpose To develop a 7T neurovascular head and neck (NVHN) coil with an extended longitudinal coverage of the brain and cervical spine, with eight transceiver (TxRx) channels and 56 receive (Rx) channels for dynamic parallel‐transmit (pTx) applications. Methods A dual‐row transceiver array with six elements in the upper row and two elements in

The BruxChecker System for Quantitatively Assessing Sleep Bruxism at the Dental Level: Reliability, Reference Values and Methodological Considerations

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 52, Issue 7, Page 979-990, July 2025.
The BruxChecker system provides excellent reliability in measuring the occlusal peeled area for quantitatively assessing the grinding type of sleep bruxism at the dental level in young adults with healthy dentitions. The highest reliability was achieved using the BruxChecker for two or three consecutive nights and scanning by transillumination.

A Machine Learning Approach to Quantitative Analysis of Enamel Microstructure from Scanning Electron Microscopy Images

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2025.
A machine learning segmentation method is applied to electron microscope images of tooth enamel to enable quantitative analysis of the microstructure. A pretrained convolutional neural network is used to expand the input training image dataset to train a random forest classifier for segmentation.
