Encapsulating networks and routing

Proceedings of 8th International Parallel Processing Symposium, 2002
Presents a new view of routing messages in interconnection networks based on the known compact interval labeling. The authors propose simple algorithms, encapsulating networks and routing, suitable for a large class of topologies. They define a floating rule that unifies the notions of virtual channels and multiple intervals labeling.

The Encapsulation of Decentralized Information in Networks of Firms [PDF]

open access: possibleSSRN Electronic Journal, 2000
This paper gives an interpretation of the recent diffusion of the processes of productive outsourcing founded on two explanatory points. The first is that such processes replace a hierarchical paradigm of information diffusion with a decentralized paradigm in which independent subcontracting firms autonomously collect and process part or all of the ...

Harnessing Self-Repairing and Crystallization Processes for Effective Enzyme Encapsulation in Covalent Organic Frameworks.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2023
Immobilization of fragile enzymes in crystalline porous materials offers new opportunities to expand the applications of biocatalysts. However, limited by the pore size and/or harsh synthesis conditions of the porous hosts, enzymes often suffer from ...

Hydrogen-Bonded Organic Frameworks (HOFs)-Based Single-Neural Stem Cell Encapsulation and Transplantation to Remodel Impaired Neural Networks.

Angewandte Chemie, 2022
Herein we present a new way to encapsulation of NSC by using hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (HOFs) to overcome the common causes of low therapeutic efficacy during NSC transplantation: (i) loss of stemness before transplantation, (ii) cytomembrane ...

Carbon Nanoarchitectonics with Bi Nanoparticle Encapsulation for Improved Electrochemical Deionization Performance.

ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2022
Electrochemical deionization (EDI) is hopefully the next generation of water treatment technology. Bismuth (Bi) is a promising anode material for EDI, due to its high capacity and selectivity toward Cl-, but the large volume expansion and severe ...

Parallel programming models for a multiprocessor SoC platform applied to networking and multimedia

IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems, 2006
The MultiFlex system is an application-to-platform mapping tool that integrates heterogeneous parallel components-H/W or S/W- into a homogeneous platform programming environment. This leads to higher quality designs through encapsulation and abstraction.

Co-encapsulation of Egg-White-Derived Peptides (EWDP) and Curcumin within the Polysaccharide-Based Amphiphilic Nanoparticles for Promising Oral Bioavailability Enhancement: Role of EWDP.

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2022
The comprehensive utilization of food-derived nutraceuticals with different polarities has been extremely restricted by their poor bioavailability and coexistence in a single system.

De-encapsulation of network packets for network protocol reverse engineering

MILCOM 2016 - 2016 IEEE Military Communications Conference, 2016
In certain forensic or military investigations, it may be of interest to monitor an unknown network. When doing such, it may be difficult to discern packet payloads from the encapsulation layers of the protocols being implemented. The network protocols used may not be standard, thus it can be challenging to de-encapsulate the layers to determine the ...
