COVID‐19–Induced Narcolepsy Type I With Cataplexy: A Short Report
ABSTRACT Narcolepsy type I is a rare neurological sleep disorder characterised by chronic excessive daytime sleepiness, cataplexy, and low orexin (hypocretin) levels. Infection with SARS‐CoV‐2 has been linked to neurological and neuropsychiatric sequelae, but cases of post‐COVID narcolepsy remain extremely uncommon.

Effect of blood meals and mating on biodemographic characteristics of Aedes albopictus
Lifespan did not differ between virgin and mated males and females. The number of blood meals (one and two) significantly reduced adult lifespan compared with those with no blood meal. The effect of the second blood meal doubled females' egg production and their reproductive output.

During the 2023–2024 Argentine dengue outbreak, 33 patients with hematological disease showed high complication rates, frequent hospitalization (64%), severe thrombocytopenia (90%), and 6% dengue‐attributable mortality. Transfusion‐associated cases were documented.
