Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis

The authors report 6 children with the diagnosis of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis. Diagnosis was based on clinical and radiological findings. The most common presenting symptoms were fever and disturbed consciousness, followed by cranial nerve abnormalities and pyramidal signs.
