Enchytraeidae (Annelida: Oligochaeta) from Uzbekistan, with the description of a new species.
ZootaxaThe first list of terrestrial enchytraeids of Uzbekistan is provided, which includes 8 species belonging to 4 genera. A new enchytraeid species in the genus Fridericia Michaelsen, 1889, Fridericia korobushkini sp.nov., is described.

New enchytraeid species (Enchytraeidae, Oligochaeta) from Korea
Zootaxa, 2015We give descriptions of five new enchytraeid species (Enchytraeidae, Oligochaeta) from Korea: Henlea magnaampullacea sp. n., Fridericia sphaerica sp. n., F. cusanicaformis sp. n., F. granulocyta sp. n. and Mesenchytraeus calyx sp. n., with morphological and molecular (mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I, nuclear histone 3 genes and nuclear ...

Enchytraeids are key organisms in the functioning of terrestrial ecosystems, but despite this, the fauna and population of enchytraeids of the European part of Russia (ER) have been studied rather poorly.

Methods for collecting enchytraeidae during expeditions
Soil Biology and Biochemistry, 1992Abstract There have been few faunistic studies of Enchytraeidae outside Europe and North America. This is partly due to inadequate taxonomic literature and difficulties associated with the examination of fixed material but also because methods for the collection of these worms, especially soil species, are not well known. Methods are described which

Phylogeny and origins of Enchytraeidae
Hydrobiologia, 1989Phylogenetic analyses of Achaetinae (Enchytraeidae: Oligochaeta) and other bisetate enchytraeids indicate that the achaetines include the earliest species of Enchytraeidae but that Achaetinae is not monophyletic. The earliest species of bisetate enchytraeid now extant are restricted to South America, Africa, and India.

New enchytraeid species from Mount Hallasan (Jeju Island, Korea) (Enchytraeidae, Oligochaeta).
Zootaxa, 2018The enchytraeid fauna of Mt. Hallasan (Jeju Island, Korea) was studied in 2016, and 21 enchytraeid species were recorded and identified in total. A combination of morphological and molecular analyses (based on CO1, ITS and H3 sequences) was applied. Here

Pseudofertilization in the Genus Lumbricillus (Enchytraeidae)
Nature, 1958NATURAL populations of the common enchytraeid worm Lumbricillus lineatus Mull., occurring in decaying seaweed, contain diploid (2n= 26) and triploid (3n = 39) individuals. The Enchytraeidae are normally hermaphrodite but the triploid form of L. lineatus reproduces parthenogenetically and is distinguishable from the diploid type by the absence of ...

Chromosoma, 1955
1. Chromosome numbers from 12 species of Enchytraeidae representing 7 genera are reported. The following numbers were found n: 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 32 and 2n: 120–140 and 180–200. 2. Several cases of intraspecific chromosome variation are found, and both intra- and interspecific polyploidy has been observed. 3. The meiotic
