Diversity of enclitics in Purepecha
2011Purepecha (isolate) has different kinds of enclitics: pronominal, and non-pronominal. These enclitics attach not to a particular class of stem but rather to specific syntactic positions. In the 16th century, they show two positions: Wackernagel (clause-second) position; and nominal phrase-final (NP) position.
