Meigs syndrome presenting with recurrent unilateral pleural effusion
Respirology Case Reports, Volume 12, Issue 7, July 2024.This case illustrates Meigs syndrome secondary to an ovarian fibroma, which resulted in recurrent pleural effusion. A thorough workup and pleural biopsy excluded other potential pathologies. Abstract Pelvic tumours are a rare cause of pleural effusion. We describe an approach to a case of Meigs syndrome with recurrent unilateral pleural effusion.
