Extensive Lymphadenopathy in an HIV‐Negative Patient With Multidrug‐Resistant Tuberculosis

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
Extensive lymphadenopathy is uncommon in HIV‐negative patients with tuberculosis. This clinical image highlights the striking CT appearance of extensive extrapulmonary lymph node involvement in symptomatic multidrug‐resistant tuberculosis, even in the absence of HIV infection. ABSTRACT Tuberculous lymphadenitis is generally more severe in patients with

Mobile Cone‐Beam CT‐Guided Transbronchial Cryobiopsy of a Penicillium Granuloma via the Right Post‐Eparterial Bronchus

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
A post‐eparterial bronchus is a rare anatomical variant that can predispose to infection due to secretion stasis, especially in susceptible patients. Navigating this challenging airway can be achieved by the combination of an ultrathin bronchoscope for optimal access and mobile cone beam CT for definitive ‘tool‐in‐lesion’ confirmation.

Surgical Management of Pleomorphic Lung Carcinoma With Left Atrial Invasion: Two Cases Including One With Cerebral Artery Metastasis

open access: yesThoracic Cancer, Volume 17, Issue 1, January 2026.
Two cases of pleomorphic lung carcinoma (PLC) with left atrial invasion are presented, including one complicated by a ruptured metastatic cerebral aneurysm causing subarachnoid hemorrhage. Both patients underwent one‐stage en bloc pulmonary and atrial resection under cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB).

Nasal route for endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA): An alternative modality in difficult oral bronchoscope insertion

open access: yesLung India, 2017
Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is usually performed under moderate sedation through the oral approach. Oral insertion is performed owing to the larger size of the EBUS bronchoscope as well as the delicate and
