Prognostic utility of oral neutrophil counts in high‐risk periodontitis: A retrospective study
Abstract Background Oral polymorphonuclear neutrophil (oPMN) levels are potential biomarkers for differentiating between stages and grades of periodontitis. We compared the diagnostic utility of oPMN levels with bleeding on probing percentage (BOP%) and microbial load in high‐risk patients with periodontitis.

Endodontic practice management with cone-beam computed tomography
Traditionally, conventional periapical radiology formed the backbone of endodontics for diagnosis, treatment planning, and management. One of the major associated gripes being the technique created two-dimensional images of three-dimensional (3D ...

Endodontic implants were introduced back in 1960. Endodontic implants enjoyed few successes and many failures. Various reasons for failures include improper case selection, improper use of materials and sealers and poor preparation for implants. Proper case selection had given remarkable long-term success.

Biofilms in Endodontics—Current Status and Future Directions
Microbiota are found in highly organized and complex entities, known as biofilms, the characteristics of which are fundamentally different from microbes in planktonic suspensions. Root canal infections are biofilm mediated. The complexity and variability

Abstract Background Titanium nanoparticle (TP) migration into peri‐implant bone may influence osseointegration. It remains unclear how loading protocols may affect TP distribution. This study aimed to detect TP in the bone around implants undergoing different loading protocols in Macaca fascicularis.
