The neoclassical theory of growth and distribution

open access: yesPSL Quarterly Review, 2000
The paper surveys the neoclassical theory of growth. As a preliminary, the meaning of the adjective "neoclassical" is discussed. The basic model is then sketched, and the conditions ensuring a stationary state are illustrated.

A New-Growth Perspective on Non-Renewable Resources [PDF]

open access: yes
This article reviews issues related to the incorporation of non-renewable resources in the theory of economic growth and development. As an offshoot of the new growth theory of the last two decades a series of contributions have studied endogenous ...

Biointerface Membranes Orchestrating Site‐Specific Osteoimmunomodulatory and Antibacterial Effects for Enhanced Osseous Regeneration in Periodontal Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, a biointerface membrane engineered with site‐specific interfacial properties is developed. During implantation between gingival and bone defect, the membrane creates a pro‐osteogenic microenvironment, precisely modulates cellular activities at each biointerface, and facilitates the orchestration of complex healing events, ultimately leading to ...

The Organization of Production and Economic Development [PDF]

open access: yes
A formalization of the Coase-Williamson-Cheung theory of the firm is used to examine the trade-off between the firm and the market as institutions for organizing production in a dynamic, general equilibrium model with increasing returns to labor ...

MagPiezo: A Magnetogenetic Platform for Remote Activation of Endogenous Piezo1 Channels in Endothelial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Tourism as a driver of development in the Inner Areas

open access: yesItalian Journal of Planning Practice, 2017
This work is aimed at evaluating on one hand tourism development potentiality in territories involved in Italian “National Strategy for Inner Areas” (SNAI); on the other hand, at eliciting the conditions to be secured so that tourism could act as a real ...

Synergistic All‐in‐One Electroceutical Platform Utilizing a Plasma–Photodynamic Hybrid Approach for Enhanced Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A flexible hybrid patch integrating a robust cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) system with a high‐power, ultrathin bio‐OLED was developed to enable synergistic wound healing. This multimodal therapy, combining plasma and photodynamic treatment, enhanced angiogenesis, cell proliferation, and collagen deposition, demonstrating superior in vivo efficacy and ...

When leisure becomes excessive: a bifurcation result in endogenous growth theory [PDF]

open access: yes
The traditional assumption concerning endogenous labor supply in models of economic growth is that utility increases with leisure, independently of the specific time allocation of the representative agent observed at a given moment.
