Drivers of glacially induced fault reactivation in the Baltic Sea sector of the Tornquist Fan
Boreas, Volume 54, Issue 2, Page 220-245, April 2025.We analyse the effect of Quaternary glaciations on the complex tectonic pattern of the Baltic Sea sector of the Tornquist Fan. Using 2D marine reflection seismic data we determine the strike and dip angles of more than 40 potential glacially reactivated faults and calculated the Coulomb failure stress changes (ΔCFS) over the past 200 000 years.
