Deep Phenotyping of Pathology‐Confirmed Benign Lesions in PTEN Hamartoma Tumor Syndrome Patients

open access: yesClinical Genetics, EarlyView.
Gastrointestinal, skin, thyroid, and vascular lesions are frequently present in PTEN Hamartoma Tumor Syndrome patients with little to no difference between sexes or by index status. Early‐onset lipomas (< 20 years) may be useful for early recognition of patients, and uterine polyps should be considered for inclusion as a PHTS‐related lesion.

Mesenchymal Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes: A Promising Therapeutic Strategy for Age‐Related Diseases

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Mechanisms of MSC‐Exos in the treatment of age‐related diseases. A Immunomodulatory and anti‐inflammatory, MSC‐Exos mediate immunomodulatory and anti‐inflammatory effects by regulating the polarisation of T cells and macrophages, promoting an anti‐inflammatory state while inhibiting pro‐inflammatory responses; B Suppression of oxidative stress, MSC ...

Utilising Human Myometrial and Uterine Fibroid Stem Cell‐Derived Three Dimentional Organoids as a Robust Model System for Understanding the Pathophysiology of Uterine Fibroids

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Three‐dimensional stem cell‐derived organoid model can serve as a robust platform to study the underlying molecular mechanisms of UFs, UFs health disparity, environmental risk factors, besides offering invaluable insights for potential therapeutic interventions.

Strategies in the histologic diagnosis of low-grade glandular endometrial neoplasm

open access: closedCurrent Opinion in Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2009
Histological diagnosis of well differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma (WDA) has been challenging over the years. Considering the impact of this diagnosis on treatment and follow-up of the patient, in this review, we have discussed and evaluated the most useful of the proposed histological criteria for diagnosis of WDA and its distinction from mimic

An Immunohistochemical Study of Normal Endometrial Stroma and Endometrial Stromal Neoplasms

open access: closedThe American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 1991
To determine the immunohistochemical staining profile of endometrial stromal cells, we analyzed a series of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded normal endometrial tissues, stromal nodules, and stromal sarcomas for immunoreactivity with a panel of eight antibodies.
