Myxoid endometrial stromal sarcoma of the uterus
Pathology International, 2003A rare case of a myxoid type of endometrial stromal sarcoma of the uterus in a 41‐year‐old woman is reported. A tumor was found in the myometrium and was well circumscribed, measuring 9 × 7 × 7 cm in size. The tumor was mainly composed of a hypocellular area with tumor cells separated by prominent myxoid stroma.

Cancer, 1987
Intermediate filament composition was studied in the following endometrial stromal tumors: low-grade stromal sarcoma (endolymphatic stromal myosis), high-grade stromal sarcoma with an associated adenocarcinoma (collision tumor), diffuse clear cell stromal sarcoma and a mesodermal mixed tumor (carcinosarcoma).

Transition From Low-grade Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma to High-grade Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma
International Journal of Gynecological Pathology, 2010We report on a case of a primary low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (ESS) that progressed to a secondary high-grade ESS. In the secondary tumor, the immunohistochemical profile and focal tumor cell proliferation pattern suggested that this tumor was not truly undifferentiated, but possessed features of endometrial stroma.

Response of endometrial stromal sarcoma to cyclophosphamide
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1970Abstract Endometrial stromal sarcomas represent 0.2 per cent or less of genital tract malignancies. Occasional responses to irradiation have been reported, but no cases responsive to chemotherapy have been reported. A 54-year-old woman was hospitalized for 8 weeks following a total hysterectomy for endometrial stromal sarcoma.
