The “White line sign”: A novel sonographic soft marker of pelvic endometriosis
The “White line sign” represents thickening of the subperitoneal tissue overlying the anterior pouch of Douglas on transvaginal ultrasound. It demonstrated high specificity for detecting superficial endometriosis and high specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy for deep endometriosis.
