Some External Characterizations of SV-Rings and Hereditary Rings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2007
We introduce a new class of rings which we call AI-rings. By applying this property to endomorphism rings, we give characterizations of semi-Artinian V-rings and hereditary rings.

On regular endomorphism rings of topological Abelian groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
summary:We extend a result of Rangaswamy about regularity of endomorphism rings of Abelian groups to arbitrary topological Abelian groups. Regularity of discrete quasi-injective modules over compact rings modulo radical is proved.

ABELIAN GROUPS WITH LEFT COMORPHIC ENDOMORPHISM RINGS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
A ring R is called left comorphic if for every a ∈ R there exists b ∈ R such that the left and right annihilators satisfy Ra = l(b) and r(a) = bR.

Rings whose modules are projective over endomorphism rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 1974
Let R R be either an Artin ring or a commutative ring. We show that every R R -module is projective over its endomorphism ring if and only if R R is uniserial.

Rings all of whose additive group endomorphisms are left multiplications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1984
Motivated by Cauchy's functional equation f(x+y)=f(x)+f(y), we study in §1 special rings, namely, rings for which every endomorphism f of their additive group is of the form f(x)≡ax. In §2 we generalize to R algebras (R a fixed commutative ring) and give

Smarandache rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Over the past 25 years, I have been immersed in research in Algebra and more particularly in ring theory. I embarked on writing this book on Smarandache rings (Srings) specially to motivate both ring theorists and Smarandache algebraists to develop and ...

Some Notes on Semiabelian Rings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2011
It is proved that if a ring R is semiabelian, then so is the skew polynomial ring R[x;σ], where σ is an endomorphism of R satisfying σ(e)=e for all e∈E(R). Some characterizations and properties of semiabelian rings are studied.
