The authors present ten years' experience with endomyocardiac biopsy of the heart (EMB) using the percutaneous, endovasal catheterization needle technique. EMB was performed in 314 patients, a total of 1362 biopsies, and for evaluation 5564 specimens of cardiac tissue were taken.
