Biologic Augmentation With Biocomposite Scaffold in Revision Quadriceps Tendon Repair
Abstract Quadriceps tendon rupture is a relatively uncommon injury, typically occurring in middle‐aged males, and is often associated with systemic comorbidities or trauma. Although primary repair techniques provide excellent outcomes when performed acutely, revision surgery presents unique challenges due to poor tissue quality and compromised ...

Endoclip is currently the preferred tool for endoscopic hemostasis in many endoscopic units. But, due to some technical limitations of endoclip and success of hemostatic forceps in hemostasis during endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), we aimed to ...

Hemostasis in Endoscopic Endonasal Skull Base Surgery [PDF]
William Halsted established the basic principles of modern surgical technique highlighting the importance of meticulous hemostasis and careful tissue handling. These concepts hold true today and are even more critical for endoscopic visualization, making hemostasis one of the most relevant cornerstones for the safe practice of endoscopic endonasal ...

Abstract Lateral extra‐articular tenodesis has emerged as a valuable adjunct to anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction for mitigating residual rotational instability. We describe a modified lateral extra‐articular tenodesis technique utilizing an all‐suture knotless anchor with suture tape, which provides strong, flexible fixation with reduced soft ...

Abstract In recent years, with the widespread participation in athletic activities, the incidence of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) ruptures among adolescent populations has shown an increasing trend. Without timely intervention, this condition can lead to meniscal tears, accelerated articular cartilage wear, and early‐onset osteoarthritis, severely ...

Lateral Extra‐articular Tenodesis Utilizing Modified Ellison Technique With Knotless Anchor Fixation
Abstract Lateral extra‐articular tenodesis (LET) to augment anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction significantly reduces graft failure rates. Although there are many techniques for lateral extra‐articular tenodesis, the modified Ellison technique provides numerous advantages as a distally fixed construct, including dynamic rotational stability ...

Endoscopic ultrasound hemostasis techniques.
Since its development, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) has evolved from a simple diagnostic technique to an important therapeutic tool for interventional endoscopy. EUS analysis provides real-time imaging of most major thoracic and abdominal vessels, and the possibility to use needle puncture with a curved linear array echoendoscope as a vascular ...

A Modified Arthroscopic Trans‐Septal Approach via the Figure‐to‐4 Position of the Knee
Abstract Standard anterior and posterior portals offer limited access to pathologies in the posterior compartment of the knee. The trans‐septal portal facilitates comprehensive visualization and instrumentation in the posterolateral and posteromedial compartments.

Arthroscopic Repair of the Anterior Root of the Lateral Meniscus Using Knotless All‐Suture Anchors
Abstract Anterior root tears of the lateral meniscus are uncommon but can significantly disrupt knee biomechanics by increasing contact pressures and accelerating cartilage degeneration if left untreated. This article describes an arthroscopic technique for repair of the anterior root of the lateral meniscus using all‐suture anchors.
