MAGTWIST: A compact magnetic rotary actuator, enabling smooth, stepless rotation, and on‐demand locking. Inspired by peristalsis, a soft polymer belt generates a traveling‐wave, enabling 270° rotation when heated. Cooling stiffens the belt, locking it in position and enabling it to withstand high loads.

3D‐Printed Gastrointestinal Stents: In Vivo Evaluation in a Swine Small Bowel Perforation Model
Gastrointestinal fistulae and perforations can lead to severe complications including sepsis and patient death. In this work, the efficacy of 3D‐printed gastrointestinal stents composed of poly‐lactic‐acid (PLA) was evaluated in an in vivo swine model.

Endoscopic treatment of rectal neuroendocrine tumors: a consecutive analysis of multi-institutional data [PDF]
Purpose The incidence of rectal neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) is increasing owing to a rise in colonoscopy screening. For the endoscopic removal of NETs, complete resection including the submucosal layer is essential.
