Gastrointestinal Transit Time Assessed Using a CT‐Based Radiopaque Marker Method in Patients With Acute Pancreatitis During Methylnaltrexone Treatment

We present a simple method using one capsule of radiopaque markers and one CT scan, which was feasible for evaluating gastrointestinal transit time during hospitalization for acute pancreatitis. During treatment with methylnaltrexone, we found no difference in gastrointestinal transit time compared with placebo.
