Endoscopic submucosal dissection for colorectal neoplasms
Although endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) gains acceptance as one of the standard treatments for esophageal and stomach neoplasms in Japan, it is still in the developing stage for colorectal neoplasms. In terms of indications, little likelihood of nodal metastasis and technical resectability are principally considered.

Abstract Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a leading cause of cancer‐related mortality, highlighting the need for early detection and accurate lesion characterization. Traditional white‐light imaging has limitations in detecting lesions, particularly those with flat morphology or minimal color contrast with the surrounding mucosa.

ABSTRACT Barrett's esophageal adenocarcinoma (BEA) with neuroendocrine cell carcinoma (NEC) is a rare disease with a poor prognosis.
