Risk Factors for Anastomotic Stricture and Obstructive Symptoms Following Double‐Flap Technique Reconstruction After Proximal Gastrectomy

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
This retrospective study investigated risk factors for anastomotic stricture and obstructive symptoms following double‐flap technique (DFT) reconstruction after proximal gastrectomy. Mucosal detachment, potentially caused by thermal damage, was identified as a significant risk factor for anastomotic stricture, while continuous suturing at the esophago ...

A Hypoxia‐Responsive Near‐Infrared Phosphorescence Nanoprobe for High‐Sensitive Detection of Tumor Cells and Imaging of Colorectal Cancer In Situ

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
We have successfully developed a hypoxia‐responsive near‐infrared phosphorescent probe, Ir‐PEG. This nanoprobe demonstrates high sensitivity, water solubility, and deep‐tissue penetration. It remains specifically activatable even in the hypoxic intestinal environment, facilitating high‐contrast imaging of orthotopic colon cancer.
