Synchronous Duodenal and Pancreatic Metastases From Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma 18 Years After Nephrectomy: A Case Report

ABSTRACT A 63‐year‐old man presented with melena and severe anemia 18 years after nephrectomy for clear cell renal cell carcinoma. Imaging and biopsy confirmed duodenal and pancreatic metastases mimicking pancreaticobiliary malignancy. He underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy.

A Rare Case of Oropharyngeal Leech Infestation Causing Epistaxis and Dysphagia in a Child in Herat, Afghanistan: A Case Report

ABSTRACT Oropharyngeal leech infestation is rare. A 12‐year‐old Afghan girl developed recurrent epistaxis, dysphagia, throat irritation, and cough after drinking untreated stream water. Examination revealed an 8‐cm leech attached to the posterior pharynx. Forceps removal immediately resolved symptoms.

ABSTRACT Periportal tuberculous lymphadenitis with obstructive jaundice is rare and may mimic malignancy. We report a case of obstructive jaundice caused by a periportal tuberculous mass confirmed by fine‐needle aspiration and GeneXpert. Treatment was complicated by anti‐tuberculous drug‐induced liver injury.

Clinical Benefit of Pembrolizumab in Lynch Syndrome‐Associated Advanced Ovarian Cancer With Germline MSH6 Variant: A Case Report

ABSTRACT This case highlights the importance of genetic evaluation during treatment in young patients with advanced ovarian cancer. Lynch syndrome caused by a germline MSH6 pathogenic variant was diagnosed during first‐line maintenance therapy, and pembrolizumab achieved a durable response in recurrent disease.
